| Standing Up for Prayer
This Thursday, September 17, 2009, principal Frank Lay of Pace High School in Pace Florida, will go on trial for asking athletic director Robert Freeman to offer prayer at a luncheon. Read the Full Story.
There is the possibility that this could be a catalyst of reformation in Florida and the start of restoring prayer in Jesus name to public schools.
This is one of the most critical issues facing the body of Christ in our nation. It has been described by a Pastor from Pace as David vs. Goliath.
In years gone by the church has lost many battles by default. We just didn't show up. Indifference had a stronghold on us. However last week, according to a Rick Curry, a pastor in Pensacola, 1500+ showed up at a prayer/fund raiser rally for Frank Lay and Robert Freeman. Also 400 graduatiing students from pace High School recited the Lord's Prayer at graduation last May. Read Story
Here is what you can do to restore prayer in Florida.
- Pray! It's time to tip the scales of justice through intercession. Pastor's call your congregation to prayer for this issue. Houses of Prayer, dedicate large amounts of time to worship and intecession for the right for everyone to pray. Intecession groups, pray-pray-pray! Pray at the courthouse on Thursday.
- Prayer Points. - 1) Pray for Frank Lay and Robert Freeman. These men are under extreme pressure from the enemy, the media and those who are anti-God and want God out of our schools and out of America. 2) Pray wisdom over the legal counsel for Lay and Freeman. These attorneys need to hear from God and to walk in His wisdom. 3) Pray for Judge Casey Rodgers and that she would rule in favor for biblical justice. In favor for Lay and Freeman. And that she would rule against the ACLU. 4) Pray for confusion to come upon the ACLU attorneys. Pray against the ACLU.
- Rally! Florida, rally to the courthouse in Pensacola on Thursday. United States Courthouse * 1 N. Palafox St. * Pensacola, FL 32502 Take off work, attend this court case. Parents let your kids skip school and to to court in Pensacola. We need thousands to be on the courthouse steps on Thursday morning. Pastors rally your church at the US Courthouse in Pensacola. Business leaders rally your business friends. Government Leaders, govern at this courthouse. Judges rally for justice. Attorneys attend this cause.
